How to: Family & Friends Wedding Photos
The ceremony is done. There were tears, cheers, beers and even a special appearance from a friendly (but loud) Kookaburra. Everyone now wants a photo with the beautiful couple…welcome to hell. This is the part of the day where the photographer tries to wrangle up all your favourite people for portraits. It can be torture and time-consuming. What’s worse, is hearing years down the track you’re missing someone important in your photos. …
But it doesn’t have to be hell and you don’t have to miss anyone! This is why you have me, and a LIST! If you know me or have read any of my other wedding day blogs you’ll know I LOVE lists!
Below you’ll find an example list of important and special people that you might want to get a photo with! Create a list of your own and send it to your MC, Photographer or whoever you trust to wrangle everyone to quickly and efficiently get a photo! This way you can get on with things and everyone can enjoy themselves.
So, please take your time with this, and make it detailed.
NON-EXHAUSTIVE EXAMPLE LIST:
Couple with Person One’s parents
Person One with their parents
Couple with the entire immediate family of Party One (sisters, brothers etc)
Person One with their siblings (without parents)
Couple with Person Two’s parents
Person Two with their parents
Couple with entire immediate family of Party Two (sisters, brothers etc)
Person Two with their siblings (without parents)
Couple with both sets of parents
Couple with grandparents (both sides)
Person One with their grandparents
Person Two with their grandparents
